Another Look at the Stories of Jesus’ Birth and Childhood

Join with Pastor John for a six week Bible study based on the stories of Jesus’ birth and childhood.  Usually our recollection of the story of Jesus’ birth is a combination of a few stories from the different gospel writers. During our time together we will read and reflect upon what each different gospel writer has to say about the birth of Jesus.  Also, the Bible doesn’t tell us much about Jesus’ childhood, so we’ll look at the few stories we do have that describe Jesus’ early years.  No matter how familiar these stories might feel to us, it’s always interesting to look at them again, especially because of the insights that can come from those who gather to reflect upon them.

The study will be offered on Wednesday afternoons at 12:30 p.m. and then again at 7:00 p.m.   The afternoon meetings will begin with a time for lunch together from 12:00 until 12:30.  All classes will be held in the Parish Hall.  If you are interested, please sign up in the Parish Hall or the church office for either the afternoon or evening opportunity.
