On Tuesday April 8th, Pastor John and Joy will lead a book discussion in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm. The night’s book will be The Prophet of Dry Hill by David Gessner. An easy read, the book is a record of what the young author learned from the older naturalist, John Hay. A nature-writing legend, Hay lived on Cape Cod for 60 years and authored 15 books as well as co-founding the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster. The book is about friendship, mentoring, the importance of cultivating deep connections to the land we live on, and reaching beyond ourselves to the world outside.
