On Sunday, March 16th to help us “kick-off” another mission initiative with Independence House during the season of Lent, we will have Chris Morin, with us to share some information about the important work Independence House does on the Cape and to be available for questions afterward. Independence House is Cape Cod’s leading domestic and sexual violence, emergency housing resource, counseling and advocacy center to address and prevent domestic and sexual violence. In the past year we have had an in-gathering of items for women and children supported through Independence House as well as supplied Thanksgiving meals for them. Chris will help us kick-off another in-gather to help make this Lent and Easter season a little extra special for those currently receiving support from Independence House.
